1. About Wexlen and these terms
These Terms & Conditions cover use of the Wexlen website and candidate, client and other authorised online workspaces. They apply to visitors and account holders. Wexlen is operated by WEXLEN LTD, company number 17045576, whose registered office is 136–140 Wallasey Road, Wallasey, United Kingdom, CH44 2AF. In these terms, “Wexlen”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean WEXLEN LTD.
Please read these terms before creating an account or using a workspace. Where account registration asks you to accept them, you should do so only if you understand and agree to them. You can save or print this page for your records. Contact info@wexlen.com if you need an explanation or help accessing our services.
2. Recruitment services and separate agreements
Candidate registration and our work-finding services are free to candidates. Creating a profile, submitting an enquiry, applying for a role or registering interest does not guarantee an interview, an offer, a placement or any particular amount of work. You remain free to seek work elsewhere.
An expression-of-interest page describes the experience we would like to hear about for future recruitment opportunities. It is not a confirmed vacancy unless it is expressly described as one. Any actual opportunity has its own requirements, availability and selection process; pay, location, hours and engagement arrangements must be confirmed for that opportunity.
These terms cover website and workspace use. They do not replace an employment contract, worker engagement agreement, assignment confirmation or client terms of business. We will agree the required work-finding terms before providing work-finding services, and provide Key Information Documents and assignment information when required, before the relevant activity. Creating a website account does not replace these requirements.
A separately agreed contract governs the particular recruitment, supply, assignment or business service it covers. These terms govern use of the website and workspaces and do not change agreed fees, pay, deductions, notice, holiday or other engagement rights. A website enquiry alone does not appoint Wexlen to supply workers or commit either party to a commercial contract.
3. Accounts and secure access
Use your own accurate contact details when creating an account and complete the verification and security steps requested. Keep your email address and account information up to date so we can communicate about your access and services.
Keep passwords, authenticator codes, recovery information and invitation links private. Do not share an account, use another person’s access or allow someone else to act as you. Client organisations should use separately authorised accounts for their users.
Tell us promptly at info@wexlen.com if you suspect that an account or invitation has been used without permission. We will investigate and take proportionate steps to protect access. You are not automatically responsible for every action made through a compromised account; responsibility depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
4. Candidate profiles and documents
Provide an honest account of your experience, qualifications, work preferences and availability. Update material changes, including expired or withdrawn qualifications and changes to your availability. Distinguish qualifications you hold from courses you intend to take and roles you have performed from roles you would like to pursue.
The candidate profile is for recruitment information, your CV and relevant trade cards or qualification certificates. Do not upload passports, right-to-work documents, bank details, medical information or criminal-record information to the profile. If an engagement requires a separate check, we will explain the information needed and the specified secure process for supplying it.
Upload only documents you are entitled to provide. Avoid unnecessary personal information about yourself or others and do not include confidential client or employer material without authority. Follow the file type and size instructions shown at upload; files may be rejected or quarantined for security or readability reasons.
An upload, a completed profile, an extracted detail or a status shown in a workspace does not by itself verify a qualification, establish competence or approve you for a site or task. Evidence must be reviewed against the requirements of the particular role. Tell us if information extracted from a document or shown in your profile is incorrect.
5. Client and business workspace use
Use a client or business workspace only where you are authorised by the organisation concerned, and act within the permissions given to you. Keep instructions, vacancy briefs, site requirements and other information accurate, and tell Wexlen when your authority or responsibilities change.
Candidate and worker information made available to you is for the authorised recruitment, assignment or service purpose. Restrict access to people who need it for that purpose. Do not distribute it to unrelated organisations, publish it, use it for unrelated marketing or retain unnecessary copies. Your organisation remains responsible for its own lawful handling of personal information.
Take reasonable care when submitting or approving timesheets, evidence or other records. Report mistakes promptly so they can be investigated and corrected. Workspace permissions or approval indicators do not replace agreed contractual responsibilities, lawful pay obligations, right-to-work requirements, safety duties or role-specific checks.
6. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Notice explains what personal information we use, why we use it, who receives it, how long it is kept and how you can exercise your rights. These terms do not give unrestricted permission to use or share your information, and accepting them is not consent to optional marketing.
We may contact you about your account, information you have submitted, an application, a relevant recruitment discussion, an assignment or an authorised service. Optional job alerts and recruitment newsletters have their own choices and stopping arrangements. You do not have to subscribe to optional marketing to use our work-finding services.
Contact privacy@wexlen.com about access, correction, deletion, objections or other privacy requests. Closing an account does not necessarily remove every record immediately; any necessary retention and your information rights are explained in the Privacy Notice.
7. Acceptable use
Use the website and workspaces lawfully and respectfully. Do not impersonate someone, submit false evidence, send abusive or discriminatory material, upload malicious files, send unsolicited bulk messages through our services or use them for fraud.
Do not attempt to access records or functions you are not authorised to use, bypass security or upload restrictions, probe other accounts, interfere with availability or extract candidate or client information in bulk. If you discover a security issue, report it privately to info@wexlen.com without accessing or copying additional records.
Do not use automated tools to harvest personal information or place an unreasonable load on the services. Ordinary search-engine indexing of publicly available website content is permitted subject to our published crawler instructions; private workspaces and documents are not public content.
8. Website content and your documents
Wexlen and its licensors own or license the website design, branding, written content and other website materials. You may view, download and print relevant public information for your own job search or business assessment. Do not resell it, present it as your own or reproduce substantial parts for another service without permission. This does not restrict uses permitted by law.
You retain the rights you hold in your CV and other submitted documents. By providing them, you permit Wexlen and its service providers to store, copy, format and use them only as needed to operate the account and provide the recruitment or related service described in our Privacy Notice and any applicable agreement. You do not transfer ownership to us.
General articles and guides provide information rather than a determination of your legal, tax, employment, safety or qualification position. Check the requirements of the particular engagement and obtain appropriate advice where needed. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; their operators control their content, availability and privacy arrangements.
9. Availability and changes to the services
We take reasonable care to operate the website and workspaces and keep information accurate. Access can be interrupted by maintenance, faults, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to address problems and communicate significant disruption where practical.
We may improve or change website features. Where a change materially affects an existing account or service, we will give reasonable notice where practical and explain any action required. Changes to website features do not alter a separately agreed contract or remove rights you have under law.
Keep your own copies of important documents and agreed terms. If access problems prevent a time-sensitive submission or correction, contact info@wexlen.com so we can discuss an alternative route.
10. Restricted access and account closure
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, protect information, address a security risk, comply with law or deal with a serious or repeated breach of these terms. We will keep the restriction proportionate, explain the reason and give an opportunity to respond where it is safe and lawful to do so. Urgent protection may require action before notice.
You can ask to close your account or challenge a restriction by contacting info@wexlen.com. We will explain any alternative contact arrangements and how an outstanding application, assignment, payment or information request will be handled. Account restriction or closure does not cancel amounts lawfully due, remove an existing contractual obligation or prevent you from exercising your rights.
11. Responsibility and your rights
We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or our breach of these terms where that loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable. Loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was something both parties knew could happen when agreeing the terms.
We do not promise that registering or applying will result in work, or that every third-party statement, external website or service will be accurate or continuously available. This does not remove responsibility for our own conduct, the checks we are required to carry out or obligations we have accepted in a separate agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes your applicable consumer, employment, worker, equality or data-protection rights or our statutory recruitment obligations. Any limits in a separate business agreement apply only to that agreement and remain subject to law.
12. Questions, support and complaints
For account help, an error, a question about these terms or a complaint about our service, email info@wexlen.com or write to WEXLEN LTD at our registered office. Explain what happened and the outcome you are seeking. Do not include passwords, authenticator codes or unnecessary sensitive documents.
We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it fairly and explain the outcome or next steps. If you disagree, ask for the matter to be reviewed. You do not have to complete our complaints process before exercising a legal right or contacting a relevant regulator. Privacy complaints can be sent directly to privacy@wexlen.com.
13. Updates and applicable law
This page is dated and versioned. We may update these terms for legal, security or service changes. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting account holders where practical and seek fresh agreement where required. Changes will not retrospectively alter accrued rights or an existing separate contract. If you do not wish to accept a material change, contact us about closing the account and handling any ongoing service.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home country. Nothing prevents you relying on mandatory protections or bringing proceedings elsewhere where applicable law gives you that right.
If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it will not apply to that extent; the remaining provisions continue so far as they can operate fairly and lawfully. A delay in exercising a right does not by itself waive it.
